Iris started drawing before she remembers, mainly guinea pigs, squirrels, rabbits, and other forest animals. She had a solid education of reading a lot of books and watching twice as many cartoons and animated movies. Her love of photocopiers started when her father would make copies of her drawings at his office, and bring a whole ream back home. 

She studied BA Hons Graphic Design at UCCA in Kent, UK, where she discovered screenprinting; and Ma Communication Design at Central St. Martin's, London, specializing in illustration, where she discovered that drawing didn't necessarily consist of spending hours with a pencil and erasing mistakes until it's. Per. Fect. She admits the course broke her a little. She also admits she learned to enjoy the process and not focus solely on the result, like when she was a kid drawing forest animals.

Iris dibuja desde que tiene uso de razón. Su medio favorito de pequeña eran los rotuladores y el betún, y su lienzo las paredes recién pintadas por su padre de blanco inmaculado.
Cuando le permitieron tener rotuladores de nuevo, llenaba hojas enteras de dibujos e inventaba personajes con gran influencia de la cultura pop, algo que ha seguido haciendo hasta ahora.

Natural de Madrid, se licenció en diseño gráfico en UCCA en Inglaterra donde aprendió con gran ilusión los métodos manuales de impresión, como el grabado y la serigrafía. Hizo el Máster de ilustración en Central Saint Martins - un curso que le volvió a unir a los rotuladores (pero no al betún).

En su trabajo gráfico, Iris se divierte creando narrativas y homenajes a la cultura pop, jugando con colores y cómo estos interactúan entre sí, usando medios mixtos y explorando las posibilidades que ofrece el crear piezas únicas mediante la risografía, el grabado y la serigrafía.
